The wonders of Autosol
Due to the nice weather we've had I had chance to give the car a wash and also polish the old tail pipes which were black and all sooty.
Autosol really is magic stuff, didn't even need to get wirewool on it. Before: After: |

Looks great!
I got some if this stuff delivered last week - I'll probably give it a whirl tomorrow if the weather holds.

I did have to google that, as i wasn't aware of the "sol" bit on the end. Still, I bet it could polish the ring! |

Autosol is great and its what I have but I hear Meguiars NXT Generation metal polish is even better, its supposedly finer and gives an even better finish.

Done it. Big improvement but my pipes are a kind of matt finish and round the tips the outer layer of finish is rubbing off. At least, that's what it looks like. Maybe it just needs more cleaning?

Looks great mate, that's what I used on my twin pipes before. Have not yet used it on the ///M though.

I need to do this with mine, but the pipes sit so tight to the diffuser I loose patience after 5 minutes and give up!
