I've been following this thread since it began and have all the software on my laptop. I almost bought a cable for Christmas but wanted to see how far the others got with coding-- there's a lot that I want to that hasn't been explored in that thread.

Maintentance: Can anyone recommend a good shop around Fort worth/Grapevine? My free maintenance expired and I need to change my oil, MT fluid and spark plugs. I usually do this kind of work myself, but I might as well use these tasks a way to test a garage out in case I need some real work done.

BTW: I'll be getting some DP's soon, so a shop that can handle this type of work would be appreciated by Squirrel.

Got a new ass. Color looks off b/c my car is dirty as hell and the trunk is clean since it just got painted. Fitment 90-95%. Got too dark to keep adjusting!

Looks gooooooood! How did the paintwork turn out? Does it seem to match the original Alpine White paint on the body?

turned out good. AW is pretty hard to match, but it's pretty darn close. i'll have to have a car wash before i can give you a better answer.

I swapped cars with my friend for the weekend-- can't wait to see how the tune on this car will act once the cold front comes through.

Well, I just got my car back from the shop. When I got back from Mexico recently, there was a small puddle under the car on the passenger side. I'm now past my original 4yr / 50k warranty and into my CPO extended warranty. They replaced the gasket, oil pan, sealing sleeve, screw plug, and 1/2 liter of oil, all covered under CPO warranty. $0 charge ftw

Whoever said Dinan voids your warranty, regular or CPO was dead wrong!

They also did the new software flash on my car which wiped my Dinan flash. Unfortunately, they weren't able to add the Dinan flash back on today because Dinan is closed for NYE!! I was pretty surprised to hear that, as was my SA. Apparently, when they do the download, they must be downloading it directly from Dinan. I was under the impression that the code was stored locally on a laptop or something. So anyway, I'm back to stock until I can swing by next week. Happy New Year everyone
