Monaco Decision was wrong.

The decision made against Schumacher was wrong. A stupid rule which does not make sense. Many forum members agree...

I agree, All the guys were racing to the line, Schu's move was superb. Alonso was on it hard. They all were. If Webber had stacked it, or ran out of fuel. HE wouldnt have won etc.

The editor of Autosport magazine sums up his thoughts on the matter well.

Tough SH1T Schumy

I can NEVER forgive the dirty German B4STARD for that AWFUL trick he pulled on Damon............... Schumy crashed and all Damon needed to do was finish that lap to become world champ and that nasty sore losing German TW4T, deliberately crashed into him............

Now that was VERY low........... he deserves ZERO sympathy!

Sorry mate, 1994 Schu earnt. 8 wins from 12 (in effect. Banned from two Disq from two). Hill won 6 from 16, 2 of them because Schu didnt participate, another because Schu was Disq from 1st and another because Schu's Gearbox broke and was stuck in 5th majority of the race.

ibanezking you aint going to ever persuade dxb335d that Schuey is anything other than an F1 Saint! Im sure he could walk onto the grid with a carving knife and cut off Hamiltons head in front of the cameras and it wouldnt be his fault. I think dxb may even be his secret love child!
However.......... Even I would have to say that I believe that decision at monaco was wrong. Whatever happened to racing? Its been lost somewhere in the rulebook.

Maybe it was................... but it doesn't take it from the fact that Shuey is the biggest dirtiest driver ever...........

All well and good while he's winning and doing it to other drivers............. but he's the first to spit his dummy out if someone does it to him.............

Valentino is the Epitome of what a GREAT RACING Driver is................. Universally adored and a great guy with a great sense of humour................. not like that sour faced german Pr1ck!

Schuey is not one to spit his dummy out actually mate. He is a modest guy who does not moan, Not like the JV's, Montoya's, Hmailton's and Alonso's do/have done.

So your wrong there.

Well he did actually complain that Alonso and Hamilton slowed him down during qualifying in Oz,

and he did complain in may 2007 that Damon Hill had blocked him

and he did park his car at Rascasse (Monaco) famously, blocking his competitors,

oh and he drove deliberately into Damon Hill in Adelaide in 1994

ah yes and also into Jaques Villeneuve at Jerez in 1997

But apart from that hes not a complainer or a cheat.

The odd occasion.

He didnt complain about the collisions. He didnt whinge about getting Disqualified from the whole 97 season, he didnt complain about Parking at Monaco,

Where was the whinging mate, you have only shown twice that he complained.

You have never competed in any motorsport I can tell.

Motor racing is full of championship deciding moves/shunts and accidents.

Hamilton whinges like a baby. Alonso always waving his fists and whinging. Montoya also. JV loved a whinge also.

Cant ever complain Schuey aWhinger.

You cant call him a cheat. Senna was just as driven and wiped out Prost for a championship (1990 Suzuka)

Senna Too once spun in Quali deliberately to Baulk Prost.

Get over it.

It was a great move, and was the most interesting part of the race to a certain extent. Lights were green, and he was able to pull off a move, that others up and down the grid were trying - well done to him.

Er Motorsport Im afraid buddy. Not watch much of it then?

No worse than this chap in 1990

Same as Prost the year before. (Debatable that one)

Hill took out Schu twice to Schu's one against Hill

Then there are other racing incidents,

Which was a racing accident, Two drivers giving it everything that had. Unfortunately Marco Campos was killed when his head struck in infield concrete retaining wall in the last round of the F3000 championship in 1995 at Magny Cours. No ones fault. Just very unfortunate.

Then there are deliberate moves to wipe some one out like this.

Motorsport is full of collisions and accidents every weekend. 99% Not pre meditated. But in the heat of the moment when a driver has one aim.

For me thats racing, and you can tell he wants it - but pushes it too far. That said and done if you think about enjoyable racing its normally characters like Shu that stand out.

The inclusion of the word literally in the phrase "its not cricket" was a reference to the fact it is motorsport Carlos.

I think the Senna move was equally cynical, so not sure thats a defense.

I can't recall the context of the 2 "Hill knocking off Schuy" incidents - did Hill have a motive to shove him off (was he ahead in the race/championship at the time?).

EDIT - seems not, Hill was behind in championship at both silverstone and monza. Neither move was cynically inspired - unlike Adelaide where Schuy went off into the barrier with both wheels, probably realised his car was FUBAR'd and then decided to take out Hill.

As he was disqualified completely after the villenerve incident, it does suggest he was considered (officially) as a bit of a cheat.

Schy is a character - a villian. Villians can be entertaining.

I don't dispute he's a great driver - though some of his ability to keep cars behind him stems from his reputation to have no hesitation in closing the door/punting you off the track if you dare to try and overtake.
