I really wanted to order one, but for the price I just couldn't live with the lack of multi-tasking ability. It is one of the main gripes with the iphone.

Nothing worse than it shutting down your app so you can quickly browse something on the net, and then having to re-open it back up again.

Not good on something that costs quite a lot. Apple seem very good at selling sh!t loads of products that are missing key features, and then releasing subsequent versions with the options added that should have been there in the first place. The problem is that an ipad is not quite as 'disposable' as a phone and shouldn't need to be upgraded every year IMO lol.

I am an apple lover big time, on my second iphone (3Gs) and wouldn't be without it, also got an imac at home. Just wish they had sorted this ipad properly before selling it.

Midgets aside the multi touch is great, though I am sure they are also great at that...

Don't go there we have had plenty of those arguments on Apple products previously

Why didn't you buy a Mondeo instead of the BMW?!!

My initial reaction was just that - but the reality is a 2 year old can use the ipad. You fire it up, and it just works. It intuitive, easy to operate and check the internet. There are load of apps available, and its a great way to get online / check something.

...but at the moment it would seem like buying a Mondeo, not a BMW, but with one of the wheels missing
