Damn! That's a pretty nasty wreck, glad no serious injuries.

So I would like your opinions...So if my car isn't totaled, I am going to do one of two things. I like the red and black, but I've had that for awhile and it's time for change. I am going to go with an M-tech bumper then:
1) Black and Orange roundels w/ black on orange calipers (majority of caliper is orange with black accent). 2) Black and White CF roundels w/ black on white calipers (I know the white will be a pain, but on black wheels I think its worth it). I like trying new things and I think the Orange might be cool...or even the black and white w/white calipers. If it is tacky, then its an easy fix. What do you think? |

or keep red and black?
I think the orange and black would look cool. It's like the reverse cousin of the GTS. Last edited by 0311_grunt; 08-05-2011 at 12:05 AM.. |

How about orange and white roundels? I did red and black, it was too much. Red and white looked better. I get a lot of positive feedback.

Maybe do like an orange pinstripe or white (depending on what color the secondary color is) around the vents of the Vorsteiner hood to tie it into the car.

I did red and white roundels on my black e92 335i and I loved it! DrPig has the same red/white roundels and his also looks really good. Although, I do think Orange and White would be pretty cool too. The only problem with that is it can look very aftermarket. When I had red and white, people used to think it was a special edition or something.

I can almost guarantee you that repair bill will be much much more than $12-14k
This (plus some suspension damage on a rear wheel that isn't shown) cost 13k. No parts replaced on the front other than hood, bumper, grilles, and a radiator clip. Last edited by raceyBMW; 08-05-2011 at 12:09 PM.. |

Yup, they called me up.
Those damn airbags were like 3k alone, plus the passenger one goes through the dash, meaning they have to replace the whole dash. So you won't have that cost from what it looks like, but you will have others such as headlight (very pricey) and whatever else got damaged in the front right corner (oil cooler, radiator, AC compressor, etc.) |
