42k on car computer says next front brake replacemnt in another 32k?

So I have owned the car since it had 26k and looking back at the history doesnt seem like it ever had front brakes replaced, and now at 42k computer says they should be replaced in 32k making it roughly 74k...While my rears computer averages about 23k per pads... Could the read of the front brake sensor be erroneous or stock brakes really do last north of 70k?!?

Thank you

My last car that I bought brand new was at 89,000 kms and the brakes were fine without ever having changed them. That car was manual though and I would downshift which helped to slow the car thus leading to less wear on my brakes.

I sold it at that point to buy my current car.
