I have no experience with other meth kits, when I say smooth I am comparing it to FBO w/o meth.

Oh, and if I am not down with loosing my washer fluid reservior for the meth, what is the best alternative.

Couldn't you guys have made something even oddly shaped if it has to be that mounts in the hood for those who would like to keep their washer fluid tank and don't want to use the meth as washer fluid?

What if any freezing issues are there for those in colder temperature areas?

I know lost of questions but that what forum is for so we can make informed decisions.

As others mentioned, freezing is impossible anywhere on earth if you are running 50% or more meth. If desired, you can run a trunk mounted tank. But in that case, you will have to move the pump to the trunk as well. Personally, I think the benefits of keeping everything easily visible in the engine bay outweigh the downsides. You can still clean your windshield with your meth/water mix if needed. But I suggest just making it a habit clean your windshield at gas stations when you fill up.

Every year or so, I suggest changing the rubber seat in the meth pump head. This is the small round bit of rubber that the bypass spring sits on. Over time, this will deform slightly. Not as big of an issue on our kits which run slightly lower pressure (ie, softer spring) as it is on the PPS kits which run a much stiffer spring. But still worth doing. We will provide these seats free of charge and give instructions on how to install them when the time comes (it takes about 2 minutes). Other than that, no real hardware maintenance required other than maybe cleaning the supplied in-line filter every couple of years.

Shiv, If i fill up with 100 percent methanol would it be dangerous to do some logs at 19psi and send them to you?

I don't recommend running more than 17psi psi on pump+meth on the stock turbos. Running more boost will give you more torque in the midrange but not much more power up top. At least not enough, imho, to be worth the extra stress on the turbo. Also, i'd leave the high boost for race gas+meth just to play it safe.

I also have not run any other Meth kit. With Meth is smoother than without Meth The car simply runs better and much stronger. :

The biggest plus with this kit is it's designed for the Procede tune and controlled to the point if being very seamless and "Super Smooth"

Did you make any progress here? I am looking to get the meth kit soon but would really like to run a BOV. Preferably synapse.

Anyone run a BOV with Shiv's charge pipe?

I ended up just removing the hoses on the Forge Diverter valves and plugging the return-holes so i still get the "whoosh"... It still doesnt sound quite as good as the synapse. The meth kit is ENTIRELY worth it though, it completely transforms the car
