E92 328 xDrive Handling

New to this GREAT forum, but long time BMW driver (past - E30 Coupe, E36 Coupe, E46 Coupe, and a X3 I still have). I realize my new to me 2011 E92 328 xDrive with sport package and a staggered 18" wheel set up really isn't a "sport suspension", but this car seems to truly out handle my wife's 2012 335 coupe with M sport package...and the 335 has newer tires and fewer miles. As point of reference, both are auto tranny. I can also keep up with my neighbor's 2012 911. Is it just me, or is this car really that good??

A 328 keeping up with a 911, makes absolutely no sense. That's like saying that the tortoise actually outran the hare on a sprint.

That being said, the 328xi is a solid car (I used to have one) - congrats.

Well, not exactly a tortoise and a hare (maybe a fast lizard, having driven both), but I wouldn't ever ever ever try him on a straight stretch...I mean on the curves, although I suspect he just can't drive

I guess that a fast lizard would be a fair middle ground.

Either way, welcome to the club! Check out this guy's threads. He has an awesome 328:
