**Help Loud Hissing and ticking sound

Hey guys

I know there are a lot of threads on the ticking sound but the noise that the car is making is not a normal tick where it sounds light.

It almost sounds like its knocking and there is something loose.

Almost exactly like when you have some loose change in the dryer when your doing the laundry.

Its very noticeable in the cabin. when you accelerate the sound does not get louder but it speeds up as the revs do too.

I did a cold star tonight and it made this VERY loud hissing sound. Almost like a pressure tank was loosing pressure because there was a leak.

I pulled into the gas station and a guy with a 335 heard the noise from 2 rows away.

Im just trying to see if anyone has an insight on this before i take it in

The car has 87K miles

The noise is coming from the front of the engine. Lower portion on the passenger side. almost like its coming from where the belt drives in that location

Thanks in advance

Did you check your belts? That's what it sounds like to my not so mechanically inclined ear.
