Pilot Cups
Of to the `ring next weekend, so I have a set of these to try.
Looking at the michelin site they reccomend a PSI between 25-31, which seems very low. Does anyone have any experience of these tyres ? Last edited by mikem; 12-16-2007 at 09:41 AM.. |

Make sure the tires are warm before you start to push hard at the track. They can be very slippery if they are cold.
I'd run about 29psi. When the tires get warmer, the pressure will increase.

So is the pressure deliberately lower in these because they get hotter ? My reg. tyres are run at 34 front and 37 rear with a perfect wear pattern, using reg tyres on this run (autobahns and `ring) I would of increased them prob. 4 psi to 38 front 41/42 rear. So 29 seems really, really low. |

Pilot sport cups. Too bad the treadwear is SH*T! I'd probably settle for the a little less grip but way better treadwear. PS2's rated at 220. PS Cups rated at 80
