Why didn't you just say all that from the start rather than making it sound like you were walking all over everyone?

Mike
I have to ask, what part of this conversation should you even be a part of? You of all people as a gold level sponsor and the fact that you didn't even attend Shift S3ctor in April should just keep to yourself and not try to start a tuning war online. This has nothing to do with Vishnu or BMS and as I clearly stated my trap speed was the fastest trap speed for the 300 to 500 hp class on Saturday.

I'm sure you're a nice person Mike, but honestly some of the crap you comment about is so childish. Stop trolling and stop making assumptions. I'm one of few on this forum who has little to no animosities with regard to tunes. My comment about the dyno numbers are just comments and I clearly stated BMS dyno numbers were lagit. I might have made a poke at Terry, but out of sarcasm. I consider Terry a friend and converse with him frequently and would never outright bash him or his product.

So, with that said let's drop this stupid banter and put this thread back on track. No hard feelings.

I think down pipes are over rated. How about FMIC? With E85 and Meth, do we really need a FMIC? Hmmm

Stock FMIC would heat soak badly and would be even slower.

The thing is that this map cannot be run by AT and the BMS NLS is not as fluent as it could be making their high powered BMS 6MT not running any quicker than their lower powered AT.

Again, I hope I will be shown to be wrong.

if you're going to chastise BMS for this effort re: "real world" power same should be said for vishnus 469whp effort which will be even slower "real world" due to the stock FMIC.

flow characteristics and meth can only do so much on the stock FMIC.

We can debate downpipes, but first let’s argue over which tune is better.

Also, which intake should I buy?

This should be a mandatory disclaimer for every “new world record” thread started by any tuner, be it Shiv, Terry, whoever. These are very impressive dyno numbers, but outside of that we have a few sentences of anecdotal evidence, and essentially nothing else.

I see. You are one of those obsessed with tuner wars. I'd suggest keeping the other tuners out of this thread and staying on topic. Looks like you agree with what I said though?

Are you speaking in terms of customer reviews of the tune, or lack of 60-130 / quarter mile times? The only difference I notice between the two tunes from reading is that one tune was set up using road testing, and the other tune was set up on the dyno testing. I'm not sure who else is running Terry's new tune, but I've seen one or two reviews of shiv's e85 map. I agree though, they are both new tunes that have not been proven yet, very soon though that will change.

If being at the event was a prerequisite I think there would be only two people in this thread that can post. But no hard feelings I was just trying to clarify what was going on at the last event. Now that everyone has more power the next event should be a blast.

Are any Cobb pro tuned cars going? That would be a great comparison too.

I haven't seen anything from the COBB boyz. Hopefully someone would say something on the Shift S3ctor thread. I missed out on the sign up for next month. Saturday filled up quick so I sent an email asking if they could wait list me for Saturday and Sunday. No point in me driving all that way only to race one day. But you can count me in for the next event. They also changed up the trophy format for this event. Regardless, it should be fun, just hope I can make it.

Your grasp of semantics and grammar is either elementary, or you are very lazy.
An easy way to gauge someone's intelligence and age is through their/they're/there written communication.

Busta,

a) their
b) they're
c) there
d) how are we supposed to know without an autocorrect feature
e) English as a secondary language allows tolerance for sloppiness
f) who cares about intelligence, I have a fast BMW with lots of super sweet mods

I don't know what their racing plans are but I would expect them to bring out the fastest car because at the end of the day that's really all that matters. If they can make this 480whp map work in a lighter AT then I think its going to be lights out for all other stock turbo cars there.
