brake caliper painting

So I am thinking about painting my calipers black to match the overall look of my AW car, however I am not crazy about spraying them for fear of overspray who knows where it could get to even with a good masking job, and I dont have the mechanical ability to take off the calipers etc. So I am thinking about brushing the paint on. Has anyone tried this? will it work? or is it going to turn out funny with weird brush strokes lol

I haven't done this, although i'd love to, but many have posted before about successfully doing this. Do a quick search. Here's one DIY:

I say go for it, and after painting stick some caliper stickers onto it as well.
I did the brush method as well and you can easily pick up a can for about $20. Mine came out perfectly and had very minimal brush stroke marks which are not very noticeable. Just take your time and all will go well. I personally like them painted than having rust on it.
