Cellphone provider in GA
Which is the best? I've been thinking about Alltel, because I'm sick of Verizon's hidden, out of nowhere fees. What do you guys have?

No problems with Verizon personally. I used to have Cingular (AT&T) and they started screwing up my bill every other month. My wife recently switched from Verizon to ATT because more of her friends have it, but now she's pissed because she doesn't get reception in a lot of places and they have hidden fees in their bill. Hell I think they all do.

Vz for me as well. Can't convince myself to defect to AT&T for an iphone.
Negatives def include excessive pricing, crappy phones and tons of additional charges. Positives include Great service and a group of around 100 people who follow me everywhere. |

If you are in Active Military you qualify for a VZ discount. You may need to send in a badge or something to prove you are but it's a healthy discount from what I recall.

15%. I have it right now and even with that, I pay $90+ a month. Taxes and other fees come out of nowhere.

Used to live in Alpharetta, Both Verizon and ATT Hq's used to be up the block from my house. Had better coverage with Att, and could get a iphone.... |

Yeah, I've heard from more than one person that ATT is crap. I'll look into Tmobile. Anyone use Alltel?

I have used Sprint/Nextel for years. Almost a decade. There is a BMWCCA Discount as well
Works great except for one road by my office. It goes to no signal for a 1/4mi. Don't know why... |

I've got AT&T, strictly for the iPhone. But it gets the job done. No hidden fees in my experience. Friends with Verizon seem to have stronger signal in more places, but here in Marietta I doubt it matters which one.
