Where to get a "real" HKS bov + charge pipe question
Well i've been through 2 vendors now, both have sold me fake HKS ssqv IV blow-off valves. They tried arguing with me that it's authentic because of the hologram, I told them that even the 30.00 ebay ones had holos. After threatening to post the sites all over they refunded me, never admitting that they were fakes but it's pretty obvious. One was 150.00 the other was 250.00, both saying that it was 100% authentic and brand new.
Anyways, does anyone know of an authorized dealer or vendor that sells them? Also, I have a ets charge pipe on the way with the HKS flange. Do you guys know if it's just an adapter flange or if it's welded on? If it's just an adapter would anyone know the inlet size? I might be going Tial or Synapse but the adapters have different diameter sizes. I've emailed ets but they seem to take awhile to get back to me. It's taking nearly 2 weeks to get my CP out...i won't see it until next friday and I ordered it last Monday. Oh, well. |

I remember installing both of my ssqv's on my GT-R.
What a #%@#%#$^!@^$^@. I tell the uninformed they are rocketship valves, and generate additional thrust at full boost. AAM Competition sold me some expensive HKS SSQV's. No idea if they're authentic or not. Build quality seems great. |
