What a stupid response, whats the point in this forum where people swap & Change things all the time, its called using your initiative & having the balls to try something different, paying for a retrim would have been £££ more than the cost of a cheap black SE cloth interior the OP used to do the swap.

Thanks again for the comments regards the dash I'm hoping it will blend in once everything is in place and done, if I don't like the look it will be getting changed,
The door cards were still bugging me as think there was still too much beige so took them out again today and did some more work Removed rear panel Took the beige mood light strip out And replaced with black Looks better now Rears done but front not, can't believe the difference Also fitted black switches and handles on the front Then did the rear drinks holder and armrest backing That's it for now Waiting for more parts to arrive |

So today whilst browsing for a kick trim I saw an M3 leather and graphite trim, and it set me thinking,
I thought I had some left over from an Audi project I did so went off to find, so had a play around with the SE ashtray, looked ok but a bit of a rush job and looked a bit scruffy but thought I'd give it a go with my console trim Here are the pics How it looked before I started Ashtray I had to put 4 washers In when putting the ashtray back in as it was rubbing when opening and closing, Very happy with the outcome pics don't do it justice |
