I did it in my garage, I set up a fan on one window to pull the air out and put filter in the opposite window so I had clean air coming in and overspray air getting sucked out.

I brought my old bumper to a local paint shop and they laser matched the color and gave me the exact color. I borrowed some of uncles spray guns so I sanded everything down with some 600, mixed it up, and painted it. I used to work at a collision center so I learned the basics there. I suck at spraying the clear thats why I got drips. But thankfully its not a difficult thing to fix, if you are careful.

I am a full time student at LSU and on the weekends I work for IronMan. I travel the country putting on half marathons and triathlons. We like to refer to ourselves as carnies. Its good money for a college student but can be very tiring.

I had my wheel turned a little and some asshole clipped it on campus yesterday. Thankfully they didn't hit the car and mess my new paint up.

Not really b/c something sharp hit it, it cut right thru both layers of powder all the way down to the aluminum.

What are you going to do to fix it? Leave it or strip down everything? Its probably not too noticeable.

I'm going to go to autozone and try to find the closest match of touch up paint so I can at least cover up the black underneath b/c thats the noticeable part.

I've also been looking around a lot at brushed aluminum wheels and I have thought about chemically stripping all of it off and just brushing the wheels but If I did it wouldn't for a while and I'd have to have a reason to do it b/c the color on there looks so unique and sick when it's clean.

Where did you order them from? And what did you go with for the rear tires 19x9.5 or 19x10?

I was getting them through Craven and he said Cooper had the 235/35/19's back ordered. and i went with 19x9.5 since it was my first new set of rims so i was going to be "conservative"
