Hello all, I've been a member on this forum for several months now and I currently own a fully loaded 328xi sedan and I love it. Recently i've been seeing some 335i/xi and kind of wish I had bought that car instead. I drove my friends 2008 335i and it was a big leap forward from the 328xi. I found some 335i and thinking about trading in my 328xi.
I found a 2009 Blue on black 335i w/ M Package fully loaded. Clean car fax, but the only problem was it has 51,000 miles. Is this a good idea or??? I found anything 2009 black on black 335i w/ 24k miles, fully loaded. I was definitely looking at the black 335i. I was really appreciate your inputs. |

If the difference between the two matters to you, then go with the one that you appreciate more.

A newish car with high mileage just means more highway time, and highway driving is pretty un-impactful compared to cold starts and city driving. My concern would be the lack of a warranty.

I second this statement, the only concern is the warranty coverage. If it is a CPO I think the warranty is 2yr/50k after the factory warranty expires which it has because it is over 50k. So if it is CPO, you have a 2 year or 50k warranty.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your input. I was thinking if the Blue 335i w/ M package was good a deal. As I read many times on this forum that people don't like to own BMWs after 50k miles. I was thinking it I bought an extended warranty on it, then I wouldn't have to worry. The carfax says that there were 2 owners. There was no crash and no problems with it except regular oil changes. I don't think that it is certified preowned. You guys think I should jump in? And if I trade in my 328xi, I won't have to be paying anything because it will be a fair trade. What are your guys' thoughts?
