You have to code the VO with the performance seat option that will disable the airbag connection thayt goes to the side bolster airbags on stock seats.

You can manually code it but if your vehicle gets updated, the warning will come back till you code it out again (VO is more permanent).

I got this off another site (thanks goes to codebynight)

Everything is in ABG module. WARNING: Make sure seats have already been removed first, and that seats have been installed, or this will not work.

SIDEBAG_LINKS_1
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is left side seat airbag.)

SIDEBAG_RECHTS_1
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is right side seat airbag.)

OC3_1
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is the occupancy mat.)

For newer cars:

AKS_LINKS_1_CD
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is the left side active head restraint.)

AKS_RECHTS_1_CD
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is the right side active head restraint.)

Thanks Desi, I have already disabled
SIDEBAG_LINKS_1
SIDEBAG_RECHTS_1
OC3_1

and

AKS_LINKS_1_CD
AKS_RECHTS_1_CD were already in nicht so I didn't bother to touch them.

the airbag light is still on, what options do I have?

Did you also clear the error with INPA? After making those changes?

I cleared all my airbag codes and e93 roc module codes doing this: *Airbags will not work after this. use for track cars only..

use pro tools or any coding tool.

night_activ:
SFY_ALIVE_ZAEHLER
SFY_ID_MONITOR
(roll over controller) disable this code too.

Then disconnect your airbag module cables under centre consol(I also disconnected roc module too, may not be necessary). All your light will be gone now.
