-*-*->Full Alcantara Boot Bundle Review<-*-*-
C/F Interior Trim Wrap Review By: hl0m4n@e90post
*Note: Jason, I PMed you many times with no successful response. I revised my post so it meets forum regulations, if there are more things I need to change please do tell me before closing it. Thank you. The Service: The service provided here is for your OEM leather boots to be changed to alcantara or whatever material you choose. Material Options: Material options, colors, and stitching are endless. Some basic ones are C/F (carbon fiber) leather, alcantara, regular black leather, and regular vinyl. Whatever color, stitching, etc you want simply contact Richy for an answer. Question #1: Is the tri (///M) stitching available? Answer: Unfortunately, the tri stitching is not available but Richy can do any other stitching combo for example a blue line stitch and a red line stitch for the seams. Price: Pricing varies on materials used but for my alcantara bundle I paid $120. Return shipping was included so I only had to pay to ship it to Richy which cost me $10 giving me a grand total of $130. Current Price: Due to high demand, prices have changed; please contact Richy for current pricing. Time: Once Richy receives the boots, he will need 2 full business days to complete the work and will be shipped out via USPS priority w/ delivery confirmation. Warranty: The warranty from ******** Motorsport for this service is 3 years on the material against fading, cracking, or peeling and also on Richy’s workmanship from delivery. Mine was delivered 12/5/08 so warranty expires 12/5/11. Question #2: So if anything happens, how do I put the warranty to action? Answer: If you have any type of fading, cracking, peeling, etc simply contact Richy. In general, the customer will have to ship back the piece needing warranty, and also cover shipping costs back. It’s that simple. Maintenance: Maintaining your new boots is very simple. For leather boots, just use the same leather cleaner you use and for alcantara a simple cloth with Woolite will get the job done. Removing The Boots: Removing the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) boots is very simple as everything is held on by clips. There is a DIY guide here (hope user doesn’t mind) and if you need help removing the boots, simply call Richy and he will gladly guide you through over the phone: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22750. The e-brake is the same for both manual and auto, but for autos simply pull straight up without pushing the shift lever button and the knob will pop right out along with the entire black base (park, reverse, etc). Below the base are two wires connected, just remove those and the base along with boot is free to remove. Both the knob and e-brake have a really tight fit so pull hard and they will pop out. Keep the shifter and the e-brake handle and ship only the leather boots including the base.

Question #3: Do I get my OEM leather boots back and can I reuse them?
Answer: Yes, you do get your original leather boots back but you can’t reuse them because the plastic rings around the boots are removed to make the new boots work. But you can always keep the boots and if you want to put them back on simply reuse the plastic rings from your new boot and all is good. Re-Installing The Boots: If you can remove your boots, you can easily put it back. Just snap everything back into place, add the new cable tie on the e-brake and you’re finished. It's a piece of cake.

Question #4: What material did you use?
Answer: I used black alcantara with white stitching. My Experience: Another great experience working with Richy and ******** Motorsport. This is my second service I ordered from them and everything came out perfect. Speaking to Richy you can tell right away he is very energetic, lively, and loves what he does along with being very knowledgeable and patient. More importantly Richy is a very honest and nice guy always available through e-mail or phone. If you have any problems or concerns simply e-mail or call him and he will respond in a very timely manner, not to mention he is very easy to speak to. After getting my boots back I would give Richy a full A+. The service was done in a timely manner, communication was great, and the work came out amazing as you can see in the pictures. The seams and stitching matched up perfectly with the original and overall the workmanship and quality is just amazing and I am more than satisfied. Pictures can’t fully describe how perfect everything came out. The other great thing about working with Richy is the hassle free warranty. If you have a problem with your trim just ship it to Richy and simply pay for shipping back, that’s it. I think the price is great for the perfect work, matched up seams and stitching, and great service. Words can’t fully describe my satisfaction but what I can say is that I will definitely be doing business with Richy again. Question #5: Does ******** Motorsport only do boots? Answer: No, along with boots, ******** Motorsport has a large selection of wheels, tires, OEM M-Tech Kit, trim wrapping services, and much more. Simply contact Richy for anything you need. ******** Motorsport Contact Info: Name: Richy Phone: 805-404-6166 E-Mail: richy@********motorsport.com Web: http://www.********motorsport.com e90post User ID: BMW MotorSport
