I use to keep the plate up against my windshield.. if a cop said something I had wires ties to strap it to the grill right then and there.. They usualy wouldn't give me much trouble once they saw me putting it on. Then i'd just cut it off when I got home.

why take the chance? If you are required to have one by law, why not keep it on? Sucks you got caught though.

i would only mount the front plate on after getting ticketed like 10 times, car looks like crap w/ it on!

u may get 2-3 tickets for no front plates in like 15 yrs.... at least the friends i have barley get any.. depends where ya live too
