Dinan Exhasut? Intake? Throttle Body?

I sent my car to dinan to get intake, exhasut, and the throttle body. Has anyone had these upgrades? If so how was the performance increase? Did it make a big difference. Im excited to get it all back and see how it sounds!

you will have a much improved throttle response and sound. you aren't going to be getting a ton of power out of it.

Ya im excited. Im getting all of the stuff put on for free because Dinan needed my car for a month for ARB testing. Im also getting the stage 3 download when it comes available for free as well. Will I get more power due to the chip?

stage 3 download? are you sure they're coming out with a chip? i think the most you'll get from exhaust, intake, and throttle body are like 10whp... thats not alot considering your going to be paying like 3.5k for everything + install.

I am positive that they are in the process of making a download for the e90. When I took my car to Dinan they put the download in the contract and said it might be out in a month. And there is not a chance I would buy all of that stuff. Im getting it all for free. I was just checking the website about a week ago and they need a e90 325 for ARB testing. Becuase I am giving my car for a month (and driving a pos honda) they are giving intake, exhaust, throttle body and the chip when it comes out. I think with all of the stuff combined I should see a good improvement. Sure its not like a 335 boost upgrade, but a good imporvement over stock.

lol free whp. not so bad. and yeah improvement is always good, but I'm just curious to see how much the chip does.

Ya I lucked out. I check the Dinan web site alot. About a week and a half ago I checked it at it said "Wanted e90 325", so I called in and they said they needed a 325 for ARB testing. ARB testing is like a emissions test so they can say the performance parts a 50 state smog leagal. The only part they need to test is the throttle body. So they are slapping on a throttle body and sending it to LA for the test. Then bringing it back and putting on the rest of the stuff. The only down side is they are going to put around a 1,000 miles on the car, but for 4grand worth of stuff im down.

I should have it back in 2 weeks. On the contract it said a 30 day max. I kinda hope they go over so they have to throw in some other stuff, lol, but as soon as I get it back I will give a full review and some pics. I might get the download before it is released to the public, so I will tell you guys if its worth it. If I cant beat my friends IS250 when I get all this stuff, then its time to get a 335 just to shut her up. We raced when I was stock and she beat me by half a car to 70. So I hope Dinan makes me proud.
