JB4 or cobb with FBO

which one would give me the best power output with FBO? im getting the rest of my mods put on this week and was thinking if JB4 (i currently have cobb) has more power output than cobb, should i just run that?

More power is JB4.
That being said you can get the Cobb protuned for around 200$ and you will get same power gains.

Just get a pro tune since you already have a cobb. You will have virtually the same power as a JB4. Everyone used to say JB4 in the N54 community as well but times have changed and Cobb is the way to go. It is a true tune and not a piggy back/boost controller.

I have a stage 2 JB4 i never even installed, i am going with COBB most likely, or just not tuning the car at all. in case you are interested, or helps you make a decision.

The Cobb can make every bit of the same power as the JB4 including more flexibility for ethanol. But definitely not with the OTS maps. The JB4 allows for easy meth integration and simplified tuning, especially if you upgrade your turbo and need a new TMAP sensor. To get the most out of your car, you almost need both. Backend flash + jb4 for control over the extras.

Also don't forget there's something to be said for the steering wheel controls for the JB4 that can be used while driving. Easily switching between maps, clearing codes, and adjusting different features and settings on the fly. JB4 FTW

Yeah but too bad they gave up on the DMEs in the late 2012 and 2013 E92s with N55s..as'dkasl;kdl;dk

The OP has a Cobb already so his DME is compatible. And it's not Cobb's fault. No one, including Dinan, has been able to flash the new DMEs.

After running both, I say JB4 all the way. No doubt.
