need help with polishing my car

So I don't have a polisher and I was wondering what product I should use if I decide to do it by hand. Or is that a bad idea? Any suggestions? It's my first time polishing my car.

You'll be working all day if you do it by hand and have very little to show for it. Use the machine (hopefully a random orbital since you're new).

cut your lawn grass with scissors , and come back tell us how your scratches got removed by hand polish!

That is exactly what I'm saying. You will work your butt off and feel like you accomplished nothing.

Buy some Klasse All In One (AIO), a large sponge, and a few MF towels.

After washing and drying, apply a more-than-suggested amount of AIO to the sponge and apply it to a section (half the hood, a door) and go over the area a dozen or so times. After letting the AIO dry to a haze (10 minutes), try to remove it with a MF towel. If you're not able to remove it all, go back over areas with the sponge (the AIO in the sponge will turn the dry residue back to a liquid) and then start buffing with a MF towel. Repeat this process twice.

After you do the entire car, go back and look for scratches and imperfections; apply and remove the AIO (sponge in one hand, dry MF in the other) until you remove/lighten the problem area.

If you follow this process, you'll likely be pretty pleased with the result. It will take at least three hours.
