Review: Chipmaster Markham - New paint repair shop

Hey guys,

I was involved in a dent and scratch group-buy over at RFD, and I thought I'd share my experience with a new shop that just opened up in Markham. They're called Chipmaster (www.chipmastermarkham.com , franchised from www.chipmastercanada.com).

You can read my entire review here:

http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/g.../#post10308925

Since they're new and I had such a pleasant experience, I want to help them spread the word a little.

If you guys are in the area and are in need of paint repair, you should definitely check them out. The owner's name is Ron, and let him know Charles with the white 3-series sent you!

Very Cold Response, Never Again

After reading this threat, I went to them for my 5 Series and C240 body repair. The response was very unfriendly and cold. I will never go to Chipmaster again.

Thumbs up

Just wanted to post a follow up on the work Ron at ChipMaster did for me in March. I went to see him based upon great feedback from e90post and RFD. Here are the pics:

Not only was Ron's pricing great but he's a friendly, down to earth guy. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his work!!!

Took my car to chipmaster two weeks ago - referral thru RFD. Ron was super friendly and really helpful. Did a great job - even with deep scratches. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

My review

Their prices are very reasonable and the final product looked great. Having said that, the paint quality is not up to OEM standards or even close. I had my front bumber painted on my Civic a while back and after a bit of highway driving the road rash was severe, soft paint and not enough coats meant that the primer showed through on every chip, looked horrible. I wouldn't go to them for anything major but minor touchups should be fine.

Please contact us at Chipmaster. Your repairs are fully guaranteed for as long as you own your car, We will stand behind our repairs 100% and refinish your bumper for you again. We experimented with a couple of different products in our beginnings to determine which ones would produce the best results, It is posible what was used on your car was one we have discontinued due to poor performance.
