My 325 m sport (57 plate, 50k miles) has a slight rattle from the front right side at "motorway" speeds - +80mph. Are there any known issues or is it just the suspension and rfts slowly loosening the exterior trim?

Its not your rft's as i have similar noise/rattle issues with my '08 E92,and i am running on winters.Had the car back to bmw and they replaced rear seat catches,which has'nt made the slightest difference!
Car booked to go back for further checks so watch this space..

there was a thread a little while back where someone had a similar noise and pinpointed it to the rivetts in the A pillar (i think).

i think it was DavS1 - but I can actually find the thread itself.

I thought it was the wheel arch liners which can come free and needed riveting again?
