i'm not sure which detailing shop; however, some should guarantee their work.
take it in to have the dealer or detailing place to take care of it once and for all. |

Give me some details on the car
Tososan23,
Give me some details on the vomit accident and the vehicle (interior and exterior colors). I own Innovative Detailing here in Orange County California. We are based out of Tustin Ranch and provide our services in the Coastal and Central parts of town. Unfortunately the enzymes and bacteria take off or starts growing rapidly, based on what food content your friend had in their stomach. Try some Meguair's Odor Nuetralizer, this will eliminate the odor not mask it. But the carpet fibers and upholsery (leather) must be completely cleaned free of these contaminants or the odor will persist. DO NOT HAVE YOUR CARPET EXTRACTED this will cause excessive moisture build up between the carpet and the floorboard and it will WREAK of STENCH If it got on the exterior or the paintwork, wash it as soon as possible to neutralize and to keep the paint from getting damaged due to the acidity of the vomit. Puke is acid, therefore stink can be there forever. U should have your car taken care of asap. Take it to the dealer, they do that kind of work.
And btw, your friend is an idiot for doing this to you. People should usually warn others if they feel sick. Or was it the case of explosive vomiting? |

it's alpine white/saddle brown. i cleaned the vomit off as much as i can off the leather and the carpets using dampened mf towels. i also tried to wash the exterior of the car as well as i can. i think i got a lot of it off but i'm sure i missed some spots...
the mat was filled with that vomit, that's gone. the carpet underneath the mat is where the stench is mostly coming from i think. it's located behind the driver's seat. i think some of us saw it coming but he just couldn't hold it in long enough... |

I was in one of my friend's car and felt the onslaught of throwing up, I can the mind frame to take my jacket off and tied one of the arms at the end with a knot and barfed into it!!! It worked like a charm, saved my boys ride and made me feel a whole lot better!! Some people just need to have respect for other people shit! I hope you get that smell out because with the windows up and the sun beating on the car, it will be magnified 1000x

pretty lame story...the week prior to the vomit accident, i was flying back from a vacation. We grabbed one of those barf bags that airplanes provided thinking that it might prove to be useful in the future. I'm kicking myself in the ass right now for forgetting to leave it in the car...

Damn dude, that sucks but things like this happen. One of my friends threw up in the back seat of my car but fortunately he had the courtesy to sacrifice his hat rather than my upholstery.
