compared to the other publications out there, edmunds has always struck me as having the greatest amount of ignorance, the least amount of driving skill, and a lack of engineering knowledge

they should keep competing with consumer reports regarding their thoughts on matters such as which camry trim line meets peoples' needs better

Anyone ever notice that car mag writers(in print or online) usually have so little amount of basic automotive knowledge it's scary? I'd bet most have no idea what the difference between a supercharger or turbo even is.

Car mags are a marketing tool, little less... too much money is exchanged behind closed doors to have unbiased opinions. This is why top gear is respected worldwide... they are fully funded by public money and generally say how they feel. Very curious to hear their opinions on the F30.

...anyways gl shiv!

I agree, X1,000,000,000

I've got money on them being the lamest automotive review site yet.

And yeah Shiv, break a leg. Just not a piston, rod, valve, bearing, head gasket, manifold, etc.

lol thanks guys. Without the upgraded MAP sensor, the won't be running anything close to 627whp at the airstrip event. I'm just going to use it as a tuning tool. Rarely can I find good data logging roads that will allow me to run 170mph

So what happens when you push past the sensor limits? The fueling goes instant lean or something?

Hi shiv, how much are you aiming to run at the event?

Not exactly. If the stock MAP sensor (and Procede) can only see a max of 20.7psi and the boost target is say 21, it will react as if it were having a sustained underboost condition and start dialing up the wastegate DC in an attempt to raise boost. Of course, it will never see the increase in boost so boost will keep climbing and climbing up to the point of maximum authority for the PID system. This is why I had my eyes glued to a mechanical boost gauge during the dyno pulls. For this event, I'm just going to play it cool, give some rides and just have fun. There is still another fuel system upgrade that I need to do when i get back. No sense in going for the gold this weekend. Especially considering some of the 1000+whp cars out there!

I hope you can get this fixed in time, or figure a way to make a safe glory run!
