Had the same thing. Many many solutions to this. But it's not the filter.

I did this; buy lysol spray, open hood, take out cabin filter, start ac from inside. Spray lysol directly but with wide trajectory on the fan motor, under windshield. Don't soak it, but bursts of 1-2 seconds. I used about 1/4 of the bottle and haven't smelled it in a month. Simple enough and if it ever comes back, I may do it again, we'll see.

I can't seem to find exact location of the drain pipe(s) under the car though. When under there for oil change or something, it may be a good idea to clean it a little bit also.

like ozzy said u take out the cabin filter and spray it into those ducts..then set your ac to recirculate the air in the cabin. i use FRIGI FRESH.. its made for that. or you can buy those 1z kits from KLIMA-clean where u spray it down your ac vents. you need start getting onto the habit of shutting off your ac a few minutes before u get to your destination otherwise the smell will come back even after you kill it with products.

I had this problem too the other day when I turned on my A/C for the first time since before the winter. No smell issues throughout winter with just regular heat on, but as soon as I turned on the A/C, smelled like feet...smelly smelly feet.

Never had this issue on any other vehicle (including cars that were 5-14 years old), so why is this happening on a 2 year old car? Smell has now cleared/gone away on it's own, but worried about it returning.

The smell is from the moisture. It happens on a lot of other cars too. Try running the vent without the A/C on for a few minutes before parking the car. It helps dry things out and lessens the smell on start-up considerably.

I've been running the REST button and leaving sunroof vented after parking.
