Aa Bov Help Please

i just installed the Active Autowerkes bov + cp but it doesn't make the whoosh sound. The guy that installed it for me said its not suppose to make the whoosh sound but i think he has no idea what he's talking about. Can anyone help me resolve this issue? i have a good feeling that he did something wrong during the installation process.

The AA bov has a different tone than the other BOVs.

Probably forgot to connect the vacuum hose between the BOV and the intake manifold...

Garage List
It's probably not blowing off correctly due to incorrect setup of the bov.
