When replacing turbo's..

Is it necessary to buy new return/feed lines? I had originally planned on it, but considering the gasket kit includes new O-rings for them, do you really need them? Is the O-ring not enough? Just seems spending $200+ on new lines could be avoided.

$200 for peace of mind when it comes to brand new turbos is worth it imo

If the lines themselves are OK though, aren't you at that point just paying $50 a piece for new O-rings?

I replaced my turbos myself. Just buy the o-ring kit, no need to replace the oil feed/return lines. I don't see how these could possibly "wear out"...

Lot of people don't know what they are talking about here...

From RB turbo website, here is the list of gaskets you will need...

While I agree it's not necessary..the last set I put on I wish the person had supplied new ones as they were more corroded than I would have liked.

IMO, just replace em, if your go though the hassle of doing turbos might as well do it right the first time.
