Just installed this on mine about a week ago and it really is worth the money. Great product! IMO the most noticeable performance mod for the N52. BTW, im running it on 93 octane and it seems to be doing well.

its 100 octane, ive been there a lot of the 76's in OC have 100 octane and its very expensive. ive filled the car up with 100 a couple times and its semi noticeable. the car runs great but ur not going to see sweet gains

I actually have both and added the box today ABSOLUTLY love it! The response time is great and the car has come alive. I had the exhaust and intake done a while back and noticed little difference. (almost all in the sound which is nice) But now I don't feel as bad that I didn't hold out for a 335. (Next up....find turbo..... heard HPF has one out now)

there were some dynos posted a couple pages back i think...i think one is enough, it's the one mod that u will definitely want to spend your money on if you're going performance mods.

Based on the numbers on the dyno if my math is correct, the HP increased from (crank) 255 to 274 and tq 220 ft/lb to 233 ft/lb. That's incredible.

How does PBX work? What are they tweaking to get more out of the engines? Will it have any detrimental effects in the long rung?

the HP and tq gains are measured at the wheels. so your gaining those numbers above with actual hp not at the crank.

no long term affects at all.

When you do get used to it...and eventually you will, set it to map 0 and drive a block or 2...then switch it back to map 3. You'll immediately be be grinning again and be amazed how wonderful this product is.

Enjoy!

Makes car faster = happy driver

The PBX works by increasing the throttle response and improves performance. So its really two tunes in one.

Mike how far off is the top speed limiter add on away from being a reality? I actually live in Germany (stationed) so I get to enjoy the autobahn and would love to be able to hang with the other cars passing me. Sucks when a Hyundai or Opel passes you.

How much faster can the car go after the limiter is removed. I'm more interested in responses from someone who has done this.
