Vessel: Grus - ETA Port Hueneme May 8

I couldn't sleep last night until 4am trying to think about the logistics about picking up my car. Damn!

I called the Port of Hueneme to see if there are any updates to the Grus, but they couldn't give out that information to me for security reasons

NOW the suspense is really getting to me!

If our cars are unloaded on Saturday, I wonder how long it would take to get up here to WA? I hope I can pick it up sometime next weekend!

AIS is still showing Grus with no updates but does have a ETA in San Diego arounf 6 pm tonight. Hopefully it appears on the radar soon

The Grus is not showing up on AIS but is currently dock in San Diego

I think it has not docked yet but has dropped anchor just outside the dock. There was another ship unloading some cars at the dock when Grus arrived and is still there. You can see the lights of the ship on the webcam although it does not appear on the radar. Also the Prominent Ace is arriving at the port as well. Both ships are listed as being docked at the dock.

How come there are always a bunch of cars on the dock? Are those cars that have just been off loaded or are they always there?

Every time I have seen the webcam there are always loads of cars there too. They maybe are there waiting to be loaded onto a ship? I would assume they load and unload from that berth. Hopefully are cars are not left on the dock at PH too long.

Most of the ships head off to Asia after North America so it's all the Asians waiting for their Saturns. I can see them all crowded around their computers waiting anxiously for the Grus.
