She has started to move across Gatun Lake. If she continues, it will take her about two hours to get to the Centennial Bridge camera.

Here is Isolde as she makes her way through the Gaillard Cut. These AIS screen shots are not live and can be delayed by 30 minutes to one hour, so she is further along than what it shows here. That red box that she is approaching is where the Centennial Bridge is located and the Mira Flores Locks. So, if you are going to watch her on those cameras, you should probably tune in here fairly soon.

Wow. I just looked at the cameras and it is dark there already. She is running so late that she's sailing in the darkness. That is unusual. You won't be able to see her at the bridge, but you will see her at Mira Flores. Don't forget Mira Flores has a regular web cam and a high resolution web cam.

Usually b/w Panama Canal and the SD area, there's a silence period (few days) where the ship doesn't show up on any radar. Once it hits the SD area, you can use shinemicro to track her briefly before she heads up to the OC/LA/PH area.

I think it's an addiction. Actually, I have one more ship to track for a friend. It is the Pacific Breeze, so I will be hanging around to help for a few more weeks. I will probably track Isolde into SoCal. Appropriate lost his AIS. I think I am the only one with it.

Bruin is correct. Isolde is in radio silence for awhile. It will take her 6-7 days to get to SoCal. She might start showing up on AIS radar around day five in the Baja region. Remind me if I am not paying attention (I will have my new car by then

) and I will take a look at radar. That will be about Saturday. Once she reaches the San Diego region she should show up on www.shinemicro.com. You can register for a free account and follow her on AIS radar around SoCal.

At this time, I don't see that she's going into the port of San Diego or the port of LA (I checked their schedules), so it appears that she might be a little ahead of schedule for PH, if she sails in six days instead of seven. We will just have to watch and see as she gets closer to the Baja region.

Thank you SPN for all the tracking info as well as photos (same to White Knight). I think I'm going to print this thread out and bury it somewhere deep in the bowels of the car for a future owner to find 30 years from now...at least I like finding old relics when I restore my old cars.

Well, tomorrow is the day. Some of you might have your cars mid-week or so? I'm hoping for Friday here in the Bay Area, but that is probably slightly optimistic. I think I remember doing a Saturday pickup with my X5 at East Bay several years ago.

Bad news guys. Folks over at Bimmerfest have posted the Port's schedule and she's not due in until 5/6 now. I've been following your thread for a month, because my 335 coupe (sparkling graphite, prem., spt, coral & alum., nav, sirius, 6A w/ paddles, and, of course, heated seats because it drops below 60 in the winter in San Diego!) is on board. I echo your sentiments - ICAN'TWAITANOTHERDAY!
