New Owner's Section

Late last night/this morning the new BMWUSA owners section went online.
As anticipated, the Owner's Circle and My BMW have now been merged.

Interesting enough, the Vehicle Tracking site has been overhauled and is no longer an "old looking" flash minisite. It is now a normal page and has a progress bar that shows where your vehicle is in regards to the five stages (ordered to at dealer). You can see a swatch of the exterior and interior colors but no longer can see the equipment you purchased.

Hope this site gets update more regularly than the old one!

I saw it this morning... I like it and it has my features listed.. It actaully listed more of my additional features than the old OC did... I didnt see my VIN there tho.. No picture of my car how can i change that?? Do you know?

I just checked again, and viola, my options are there!
The picture I have is of my car in the color I selected. What is in the space where the picture should be on your page?

They can't even find my car. Where is the 'real' owners circle. If you login to BMWUSA.com, there is no option for the Owners Circle. How do I track my vehicle from an ED?

2011 328i  [0.00]
I logged on this morning and somehow now my car "On Order" is a 128i Convertible instead of the 335xi Sedan that was correctly listed on Friday. When I clicked add/remove vehicle to remove the 128i, it said I will be downgraded to a visitor account. Unfortunately I dont have my build # with me at the moment so I was unable to enter it to see if my order is totally screwed up or if it was just a glitch in the merging of the online accounts. I obviously have a call into my CA also. The tracking info for the 128 was "on order" which was the same status my 335 was on friday.

Anyone else have this problem of the car they ordered changing? Did reentering your build # correct it?

I saw this first updated last night around... I'd say 9pm EST. My oc.bmwusa.com link just started redirecting to the main page and I found the new My Account section.

I like it, it was due for the update.

Finally got logged in to the new site. I see my 328i in the MyAccount Overview. But, there does not appear to be any way to track the car (I just completed an ED). On the old site, tracking was 'slow to update' but, it was there.

Has anyone found the way to track progress?

I ordered my 335i coupe on friday and my CA gave me a prduction # today. it shows the car as a 325i sedan which is normal since the car hasn't gone into production yet. however i don't see a production week and i called up the 800 number and it says my car is scheduled for production with no production date yet. When will i get a build week?

Although the 800 number says no production date, if you talk to customer relations they normally have a production date for you early on.

I just created an account on BMWUSA.com -- My Account and the cars shows the wrong car. I ordered a 335i and it shows a 335xi and that it is At Your BMW Center when according to my BMW rep, it's on a ship going through the Panama Canal. What gives?

Just about evreryone's OC site, at one time or another, has shown wrong information, which most commonly is a wrong car. Mine showed a 2001 740 Li for weeks (when I order a 335i coupe like you).

I was able to straighten mine out by removing that vehicle from the page (by clicking on remove vehicle), then adding a new vehicle (this time using my full vin as opposed to my production number). You should have a vin by now, but if not call the 800 number and speak with a representative, they will have it as long as your vehicle is in or past the body shop.

Good luck with your car...sopunds like you will be driving it way before me (im waiting at the port for a ship).

If it's already on a ship, I'm guessing you didn't just order? The production numbers can be re-used and reassigned so a lot of times you'll get the wrong car when you first set it up, but within a day or two it's fixed. If you're already on a ship then I'm not sure why it would show wrong, but I'd give it a day or two still.

Red-

I would call the BMW North America number: 1-800-831-1117 and ask to speak to a representative...they should be able to tell you your vin right away. These reps dont care if you call them a lot...On the other hand CA's do...save your CA emails/phone calls for when your car hits the VPC and you want a delivery date.
