Why doesn't my OC update?
I placed my order on April 25th and got my production number but it hasn't updated to anything since i got my production #. I talked to a customer rep last tuesday and was told my car was confirmed for week 21 production but neither the OC or the 800 number are updated. The OC still says i ordered a 2006 325 sedan.

Same here. Entered my production number into OC for my 08 335i Sedan, and apparently I ordered a 2005 X5 3.0 SAV. Dealer tells me that OC data is usually outdated or just wrong. Bummer.

Not true, it should update within about 2 days of the CA actually submitting the changes in the system. My cars were updated long before it went to production on the last 2 BMW's I've bought, but it did take a couple of days from when the CA made the changes to my specs.
If you're really concerned, just ask your CA to print you out a "Vehicle Inquiry" report for your production number, that will be up to date, and it will give you the full option list for your vehicle so you can verify it's what you ordered. -F |

OC is very slow to update. It's usually at least a few days behind. Granted my car only took about 5 days to enter production, but the 800 number never updated until it was actually in production, and OC a day behind that.

hehe well i got an 08 E90 M3 now but i still track the 335 i had ordered lol. It has indeed gone into production this week(21) and is currently in paintshop. The 800 number is up to date but the website still isnt updated since the car was ordered 3 weeks ago. But i'm off to go drive the ///M!
