Legal Presses Plates - Yes/No?
I've looked briefly at these plates from here... http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/webshop/...-legal-plates/
I think they look pretty good, what's the opinion here? I think they work better with a private plate with a few less characters... |

I really don't know...
Read a response from Dubmiester on a different site saying they comply fully with the BS regulations that plates have to meet. So they've passed that test or standard. Apparently if they're stamped up with the BS then nobody can question the legality as quite simply that means that they are. But, still... I really don't know |

Hi phil, I have pressed alluminium plates. They have a reflective coating over the pressed alluminium for light, and are approved legal in Charles wright UK. Had them on all my cars for the past 5 years never had an issue even at MOT time. I've had the dub ones, however just got a set for £20 delivered on ebay, and top notch quality.

I had pressed plates front and rear from dubmeister on my Mk5 Golf GTi when I had it, had no hassle from police or passing MOT in the 2 years I had it.

I suppose a legal pressed plate will all look the same.. The only issue is the boarder looks a bit chunky on that. |

I got mine from Alex at Elite Car Care around a year ago and I've never had any issues with them. I've been pulled over several times and not once has the plates been mentioned.

Depends who you get them from, called Davila and they said if their reflective, correct font and spacing and approved no issues at all with them.
