Hello,

I bought a 335 last month, it had covered 8500miles.(the dealer told me it had just had an oil change.) i have now got to 10,500 miles and a service indicator has started to appear when i turn on the car.
I have gone into the i-drive and next to oil is an amber triangle. when i click on it is says 08/2009 5000 miles. does that mean i need an oil change now or in 5000 miles time? if in 5000 miles, why does it tell me so far away? and what relevance does the date have on it?
