Is Any CSL sponsor coming out with a perfect offset for 18 wheels?
I have been looking at CSL wheels and can't seem to decide between 18's and 19's. I would like to go with 18s because the roads are fairly crappy where I get to drive mostly to work etc. Miro CSLs have perfect offset for 19s. Is any sponsor planning to come out with perfect offset for 18s? Don't really want to go spacer route. I am sure some other members will also be interested in seeing more variety for 18 wheels.

It's something we'll be looking at down the line, but there really needs to be a significant demand for them that really hasn't been seen in the 18's. Mold fees are quite expensive just for reference - and take a great deal of volume to break even on.

I have been a heartbeat away from ordering csl reps for a long time. I would want 18" as well because of the terrible roads here..

i'd just get 19's 8.5 all around.. i find with 18's you just run spacers, which to us canadians, after shipping, is only a bit less than the 19" setup!

What are some of the issues that one may have with rims that does not have perfect offsets? I'm considering the CSL's but really don't want the bumpy ride of the 19". These wheels will be on a 08 328I w/sports pkg. Thanks, Wig |

I have no problems with quality spacers in the rear. I had Rogue Engineering pieces (15mm) when I was sporting the 156s, 197s and my BBS CHs (10mm), and they've served me well. Having gone from 16s to 18s to 19s, I do concede that the 19s do ride the roughest but they're still quite tolerable in the pockmarked streets of DC.
