The OEM one will not fit. You are just going to have to fab one up. Inc the intake scoops on either side. The OEM 1m ones will not work... so something custom? |

Doh! Just after I have done the M sport front end conversion!!
Id be interested to see how these all turn out on all your cars, fittament wise and I may take a punt on one at a later date. Price is good!! Nice find!

Guys before you's all drop some coin into this project you's might want also to consider if the bumpers come with Pdc holes for those with this option. Also will the standard headlight washers work. I remember reading somewhere that these had to be modified when doing the 1m bumper.

Guys, the seller has agreed to do both the bumper + side skirts for £400, I've linked him to this thread, hopefully he'll sign up to answer the questions you have about the clearance, grills etc. I don't know answers to these I'm afraid, so you should hear from him shortly hopefully..

I don't know about this now if you cant use the 1m grills and you have to piss about cutting some.
If that's the case I rather have an m3 style front bumper and side skirts with a duke rear diffuser or something. |

I'd potentially be interested in the M3 style skirts but would really like to see some fitment pictures of the actual item to be able to commit. Mainly a general side on shot and one with the door open, showing the sill.
Hopefully when the seller posts on here he can provide?! |

Bmwak: Not meaning to discredit this group buy but you can already get ABS plastic M3 side skirts for around £140.
Definitely interested in the front bumper, looks very nice. |

no mate, people had quite a few questions that they wanted answered, I sent a few reminders to the seller to post on this thread, he hasn't, so this fizzled out I guess

he has already fielded a number of questions, and brought the price down, and offered further discount for group buy AND throw in a discount on the skirts. and yet after all that work, he still doesnt have a single sale... hes not an E9x enthusiast, hes a business man, and obviously other people are actually going to give him money instead of (for want of a better phrase) wasting his time, asking him to sign up on a car forum to hold a Q&A session. if you pay with paypal, and are not happy with the product, simply return the stuff and get a refund, it will cost you 50£ to send it back... but that's the risk you take. |

I asked the guy a few questions but didn't seem very fourth coming.
Doesn't inspire confidence I asked him how the fit was and his response was "It will need a bit of work" I know what that means lol |

I'm seriously considering buying this.
The OEM 1M air ducts fit the 1M style bumper for the M3. This has been verified here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=847040 So is it ok to assume the OEM 1M ducts will fit the 1M style bumper for a non-M? Don't mind if its not a straight fit, there will obviously be some modifications required. Looking at pictures both the 1M bumpers for the non-M and M3 look the same, apart from the width of the arches. Looks like the main air duct portion/hole is similar? |
