Alpine PDX-5 - Anyone have pics of this amp installed in a 335i?
Hey guys, working on installing this amp, subs, etc. this weekend and trying to come up with a good mounting point. I looked few a few threads but no workable option.
I don't want to buy the taller CD driver side interior panel as I still need to get golf clubs in. I have tried under the floor cover, but no go about 1/2" too tall. Only option I can think of now is hard mounting under the rear deck. Any thoughts or install pics would be great! Thanks! |

Sorry, should have mentioned. I will have a corner sub over the battery so clubs need the driver side space. I tested it out last night and no go without having to remove all the drivers, etc.

You can fit your clubs with a sub enclosure over your battery? I didn't think this was possible. I put my sub in the storage compartment under the floor to keep the space free.

Sell it, and buy a Alpine pdx-v9 (fits snuggly) or a jl xd700/5 (plenty of space for wires) and install in the oem amp location.
With both this amps you will get much better sound and much less distortion. Choose alpine if you going to use external sub, and jl if underseat subs. |
