225/35/19 vs 235s on 8.5s

im having difficulty looking for matching front and rears in the Philippines, so i might go with 225 fronts and 265 (on 9.5s) rears

would the tires look too stretched? using the calculator it seems that the 225s are a better match for 265 rears than the 235 and 265s..

any problems with 225 vs 235?

would the grip difference be that noticeable? (i dont track the car; just some spirited driving)

thanks

The correct matching set for the rear 265/30/19 is the 235/35/19. The 225's will look way too small and your wheels will be exposed too much.

I have asked the same question last week.
Yes 225/35/19 is a more correct diameter than 235/35/19.
It's just everyone around here is obsessed with bigger and wider

235/35 is almost a half an inch taller than 225/35, that's why everyone seems to look jacked up when they put it on like that and then end up dropping/lowering the car.

By the way, I have been meaning to ask the poster above:
***OEM BMW TPMS****(SPECIAL $246/set) - how is that a special when they're 190 or so on tirerack? Just curious http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/TPMSS...=Sport+Package

They're also $195 shipped from Tischer BMW.

To the OP: why don't order you from Hong Kong or Singapore?

Not quite that much, it's 7mm taller.
