FMINUS need help
I along with some other members are wondering about CG products that are not on the CG website.
I hear you talking a lot about CG products that work great, but I have not a clue what they are used for. Like barebones.. I was wondering if you could give us a list of products that in your option are a must that are NOT on the CG website, and what they are used for. I plan to call in a order to CG, but I want to wait tell I hear back from you inorder to put more products on my list! Thanks, L~R~G |

Wow talk about a bat signal!
Barebones is an undercarriage spray thats used in wheel wells. Its an oil based solvent that makes the wheel wells BLACK. Some people even use it on tires. CG ONE is the BEST waterless wash I have ever used. CG Total INterior cleaner is great. Its concentrated and can dilute 1oz to 15oz of water! Its $18 bucks a gallon so do the math. Citrus Blue Wheel cleaner is great for wheels, its very gentle, but make sure you have a foamer head. 5050 wax is a good beauty wax. Blitz is great if you like a sealant "boost" Jetseal is my favorite detailing product PERIOD. Synthetic QD and Speedwipe are 2 awesome QDs Waterspot remover is a rare item that many brands do not have. Natural Shine/Look is cheap and awesome Trim Gel is like black wow but at 1/10 the price Their LIghtning extractor is also the best Ive used. Call them and ask for Paul, tell him Phil with the M5 sent ya, he will hook u guys up! On another note, Detailers domain is having an AWESOME group buy sale, GRAB THE LUSSO!!!! Its the best wax in its price range! P21S is going to raise their prices soon so grab the TAW and the Wheel Gel! http://www.detailersdomain.com/index...TS&Category=28 |

Thanks for recommending the Jetseal 109. I tried it last week and I like it.
I just ordered the Lusso. Any issues applying over the 109?. I read some post on autopia saying they were not a good match. Your S2000 detail looks good. |

fminus, can you confirm that the CWG is too harsh to use as a weekly wash and will remove wax? is there another CG alternative?

If you are going to re-wax stick with CWG, but if you just waxed and want a quick wash that will not remove wax go for something lighter. I use EXTREME BodyWash & Synthetic Wax/Gloss Enhancer -SHAMPOO for a quick wash. Its the purple stuff... But I would like to see what FMINUS says becuase after all he is THE MAN!!!

this is what it says on chemical guys about the purple stuff: will not remove protective wax or polymer surface protectants.
CWG does NOT mention anything about NOT taking wax off...... here is the link of the stuff I am talking about: http://www.chemicalguys.com/Car_Wash..._p/cws_107.htm

CWG can be diluted so that it does not strip wax. Exteme BW can be also diluted to STRIP wax. Its all about dilution and how you use the product.
This goes for most of CGs stuff. Its mostly concentrated so you have to know what you are doing. |

just got my first shipment of product from CG and i have to say i'm quite impressed. big props to them for including spray nozzles for all applicable bottles and getting the product out in time! i will DEFINITELY be ordering from them again SOON.
also impressed with the 'made fresh' date stamped on the bottle. i think we've found a winner
