Any oldskool ravers on here
Reason im asking is i should eventually get a car if im not outbid, shown a crash damaged car, or another stolen recovered, (just the luck im having). I am planning on getting one with a ipod connection and im in the process of converting all my oldskool 12" to mp3, it has taken me approx 10hrs already.
I have about another 40 records to do. Music from late 80 to early 90s, stuff by 808 state, acen, sl2, shades of rhythm, n-joy etc. When all done i will post up a list of tracks, anyone wanting a cd making of all there old favourites, i shall knock up a copy for you. Please note this can only be done if you already have a copy of it at home and need it for a backup purpose, this is due to copyright laws. I have missed driving so much for 2 years, this collection at hand in my car will be so worth it. Phil |

Absoluetly mate!!!!
I would f**king love a copy of them. I will even buy another ipod tomorrow in preperation, so now you have to do me a disc!! haha Would be great to put a set together with ableton, in a way that could never have been done back then with vinyl while in a dark empty carpet city warehouse on an industrial estate in Cambridge looking over your shoulder because the police riot teams trying to take the main doors out with battering rams. |

LOL, I lost track of how many times we ended up covered in mud head to toe, clambering through fields and over hedges as you can hear the music and see the lights but can`t find it.

Just done 6hrs from Sunderland listening to this, Frankie Knuckles, Baby D, Masters at Work, 808 Pacific State etc. etc. Its a bit more house than rave but the traffic was too slow for the hard core stuff. Need a clear road and three digits on the clock for the full rave effect Put me down for a full remix!!!! |

that kind of stuff from back then is hard to find in mp3 format if you know what I mean. Think PM may work better for the rest of the discussion!!

Only if we can also get Sasha to do a set mixing hardcore with garage and some acapellas over the top!!
And have Fabio and Ellis Dee dropping their shit as well. Pure bliss!! |
