Yeah, I can't see it going to 250. A 320d engine is far more sophisticated and with a re-map is 220-225 from 177.

Still 250 sounds alot for the Vito too. I'd like a go in that.

I presume you are talking about the VW here? You do realise that it is a twin turbo don't you?? So far more sophisticated(as you put it) than a 320D engine. It is only Celtic tuning(whom I wouldnt trust) that quote these figures)but the bigger boys wo'nt be far off, so maybe a bit more conservative.

Drive one Carl, you will be very surprised how well they go for a van - In fact if anyone wants to drive one, pop in and see me, you are more than welcome.

And I dont work for VW before anyone asks, I am independant, but I just know a good van

Fair enough mate, so similar to the 123d engine then, Thats re-mapping from what 200-250.

So I would guess 50 would be achieveable with the 180HP VW.

Renting a van this weekend. Not sure what it is yet, Transit I think.

Oli - any details of your company available? Toyed with the idea of getting a decent van and converting it (something like a Sportline) many times.

I was close to buying a California 174 but the interior just left me cold and the cooler/fridge is cr4p. A bit dull externally too.

Something like a Sportline/Caravelle done properly by Bilbo or similar would be pretty nice.

Not for now but a future consideration.

Sprinters ,We have shit loads and have had loads of trouble with them as well .Lots of fuel rail problems and gearbox issues.

To confirm we have the long wheel base version with 4X4 313d engine , Only do 10 to 15k pa.

To be honest some service issues may be down to our fleet managment company using the cheapest service/garages around

We did use fleet teqnique but now it is run by Hitatchi ,All our vehicles come through fraikin
