DP's /JB4 "auto code clear" question?

I had a question. Let's say I buy catless downpipes but I don't want the annoying SEL light. Then I buy a JB4 and enable the "auto code clear" function correct? What if I don't want to buy a JB4 are there other options?

Question 1) if the auto code clear function is enabled does the JB4 clear ALL codes or just ones related to running catless down pipes?
Question 2) if it clears all codes what happens when I get a non related SEL code? Wouldn't this potentially be really really bad? What am I missing?
Question 3) I just want to use MHD tune with DP,FMIC,DCI and CP can MHD autoclear Codes or are there other options? I don't want to do catted DP.

After doing some reading I same across sparkplug non fowlers. Has anyone tried using sparkplug non fowlers on POST cats O2 bungs? Sounds like this would prevent cel codes and pass emissions? Is this the magic bullet? Not even sure there is enough room? But its$5 compared to JB4 and DP fix and or O2 simulator fix.

If you wanna use jb4 with auto clear... Get MHD backend flash with a tunerpro bin file with cat codes turned off. Jb4 and MHD at the same time, no CELs and live happily ever after.

Passive delete can be enabled outside USA but best option is to use TunerPro to modify the MHD BEF file before loading to code the faults out.

wow sounds complicated. I'm in the US so it doesnt sound like Mikes solution is an option. Is there an option to do all this with out JB4? I just want to use MHD. If I run MHD with DP's FMIC, CP and DCI and stage 2 I dont want to see the Cel cods. Does the Sparkplug fouler option work? I've heard this can be used to prevent CEL codes but havent found a definitive answer and not even sure if they will fit.

Is this only for new JB4 purchases and firmware updates? If the JB4 is operating on older firmware is few years old it should still clear the codes, yes?

Basically.. you load your bin file onto tunerpro software.. look for the 29f4/29f5 values in tuner pro and change the parameters to I believe 0 or 5? Can't remember exactly but after that you hit save and then flash the newly made bin file .. very easy can be done in 2 minutes.. PM me if you have any more questions

I like JB4 because I have Bluetooth so I don't need to connect wires to my phone or even stop the car if I want to log performance, read codes, change maps or other parameters. I like that JB4 runs stock like map until your oil warms up. Also I have ethanol sensor wired to JB4 so I know my ethanol content. etc.

I'm about to install DPs and have JB4, will I now get the CEL light? I haven't updated my JB4 software in about a year. I was also planning on the BT module, will that auto update the software?

is there a clear DIY on how to do this via the MHD BEF? That's my next step after the DPs get installed.
