Question on Navigation?

I have the 2007 disc and notice that when i enter an address, the disc only shows Canada/United States and the first 5 US states in alphabetical order. None of the other 45 states show up so it makes it difficult to search for anything? could there be an error with my disc? This is on an 06 330i sedan.
