CF Hood/Trunk(Boot)

Gals and Guys, Looking for some opinions and feedback on the latest selections of CF hoods and truck lids for the E90 Pre LCI...

Did some research and there are several options out there but wanted some feedback from those that actually installed a hood or/and decks.

Pictures would be great...

Concern is quality and fitment. Definitely plan on painting both...

Read where some require hood pins/locks?
Read where the hood struts won't work and requires a prop rod? Ouch
Read where cracking was an issue.
Read where the fitments are fair to poor.
Read where heat caused some paint issues.

What brands have the best quality?

Thanks in advance for the input..

Just changed out the complete front end. Now the hood looks a little plain.

And whole bunch of different sorts... just

After a considerable amount time of researching I ended up going with **********s and NRG Innovations Hood and Deck.
My experience with **********s was exceptional. Great service and fast shipping.
Overall quality of the hood and deck is VERY good. I was impressed with the quality.
This is not a 15 minute installation, it took me about 8 hours for both. After doing it once the 2nd time would half the time.
There are a lot of very precise holes to drill on both the hood and deck. And I mean precise.
If you install either of these, do it right and transfer over all stops, bumpers and guards, etc..
Aligning the hood took some time to get it right. The fit of both the hood and deck are dead on.

Now the big deal is going to be the paint for both the deck and hood. It will definitely be a first. I’m having a graphic artist do some pretty cool graphics.
I did paint the silver hood vent grills black and will be replacing them prior to painting.

Some pictures before painting…
