"Current Playback"

I noticed a small bug with my iDrive. If I turn the car off at the Current Playback screen (I'm playing music off of a USB thumb drive) and turn the car back on at a later time, the cursor will be stuck at the first song instead of highlighting the currently playing song. I have to go to a different menu, then come back to Current Playback, then the cursor will highlight the correct song. Anyways, small annoyance.

The real problem is that I cannot save Current Playback on one of the 6 touch sensitive buttons. The system also does not recognize the voice command "Current playback" even though it is listed as a valid voice command in the owner's manual.

Has anyone observed anything similar, or came up with a good solution?

Mine does the same thing. I'm used to it by now.
