I just got a bmw yesterday - horrible "welcome me" thread, I know!!!

Anyways, I have yet to order a hardwire kit for my V1. Problem is, I left my V1 cigarette power cord in a rental car last month, just realized this now. I leave for pittsburgh in the morning (sunday). if anyone here has hardwired their escort/passport/v1 and can loan me their cigarette 12v cord, I'll be forever indebted to you! I can give you a $50 deposit or whatever you want, in order for me to borrow it.

bby only has an escort hardwire kit, which I'd use, but the mute button won't work, so I don't want to bother installing it.

my last resort is to purchase an escort from bby and then return it after "borrowing" the cig plug. restock fee FTL.

I live in lafayette hill.

I can lend you either of my V1 cords. PM me. If you can get to South Philly (shop) before 1:30 you have a deal. I'm leaving SPhilly at around 1:30 for a (BMW photo shoot in Princeton. Will be back in Philly (East Falls area) between 6-7 probably....so that's another option.
