I know what it is.... the car is shutting off mid-drive, but because you're in gear it "kicks starts" itself back on. It's the same as if you're rolling down hill and you drop the clutch to start the car, only since your car is already moving and in gear, it feels like it's "bucking". Now the real question is, what is causing your car to stutter / shut off/ etc.

p.s. your thread title made me think that bmw and starbucks had teamed up - what are these "carbucks" and how do I get them?!?

Perhaps meth kicking on too early causing it to misfire?

This has been happening to me too. I have the JB3 1.4 Final on Map 5, no supporting mods, 93 octane. I thought it was just uneven pavement but I'm not sure anymore. Hopefully we find the cause.

I'm not sure. I haven't used the JB3 prior to 1.4. I have 35k miles, spark plugs have not been replaced yet. Only have had the JB3 for 1k miles.

Scanned for codes with BT Tool - nothing.

Same thing has been happening to me every once in a blue moon while cruising in 6th gear. Seems as if it misfires. It is so subtle that I thought it was uneven pavement too. But I guess not. Running map 6 1.4 10k miles. (all supporting mods minus meth)

I was on the track the other day and ran out of gas at full throttle! Doh!!
My car bucked like crazy and I think I blew at least one injector.

How was the gas? Did you have enough?

It has happened to me three or four times on different days. Every time I had more than a half tank of gas. The bucking is not even that noticeable. It's very subtle. It feels like a small misfire / bump on the road. Just a loss of power for a millisecond, if that. I was in 6th gear, around 70 mph every time it has happened.

You know that EVEN JMK will make you put ALL your stock parts back in for a repair right?
They are mod friendly and all but when i had to get my fuel pump replaced for 5th time and wastegates, they even wanted my stock intakes back on.
BTW are you buying your car after the lease? Did you fix the broken ECU connectors lol.
I remember when your car was BONE stock and i sold you your first JB3 like a year ago. Now you running 11's.
